• Library Procedure for Books Selection and Purchases:-
Library is common for grant as well as non-grant courses. For grant courses library get Rs.30 per student as library grant plus Rs.100 per students from library fees, which does not exceeds to Rs.50000/- From non-grant courses budgetary provision of Rs 200000/- per year was allocated and purchases has been made accordingly.
While selection of book s for purchasing, recommendations from require department heads as well as staff are taken and purchase are made according from local book seller.
Quotations need not be called for purchasing, as books item are excluded by finance department.
Students are also asked to give their suggestion for book purchase.
Separate accession register for grant in aid, non grant, social welfare, shiksha mandal book bank and world bank is maintained. Books are classified according to Dewey decimal classification scheme.
